The Association obtained funding under the Civic Initiatives Fund for the implementation of the project entitled “Silesian Primer – Through Education to Regional Culture.”

The project was carried out from 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2010. Within the framework of the project, a textbook entitled Gōrnoślōnski ślabikŏrz was developed, consisting of 46 lessons arranged thematically in accordance with the chronology of the school year. The textbook is intended for pupils in the lower grades of primary school (preferably Grade III).

A total of 1,800 copies of the textbook were printed and subsequently distributed to schools, libraries, and community cultural centres. These entities were able to purchase the textbook at a preferential price of PLN 2.50 per copy.

Following the successful distribution of the textbook, a decision was taken to reprint the publication and make it available for commercial sale in bookstores. Its sale proved to be a considerable success.

In the subsequent years, the publication was reprinted several times and achieved a circulation of many thousands of copies.
